Move Well at Every Stage of Life

Pilates for Healthy Ageing
At Studio 11, Pilates sessions are designed specifically for people who want to stay strong, mobile and confident as they get older.
Our bodies naturally change over time. Stiff joints, reduced balance, old injuries and the small niggles that often appear with age can begin to affect how we move and how confident we feel in everyday life. Pilates offers a gentle yet highly effective way to maintain strength, flexibility and coordination while supporting the body through these changes.
Working in a private studio setting allows each session to be carefully adapted to your individual needs. Exercises can be modified for joint replacements, osteoporosis, back issues, or general stiffness that often develops over the years.
My focus is not on pushing the body, but on helping it move well, safely and with confidence.
Alongside many years of Pilates teaching experience, I also have professional training in chronic pain management. This background allows me to work thoughtfully with people who may be managing persistent discomfort, old injuries or sensitive backs and joints — something that becomes increasingly common as we age.

Experience Matters
With many years of experience teaching Pilates, I have worked extensively with clients navigating the small challenges that naturally come with ageing – from stiff backs and hips to reduced mobility or recovery from surgery.

The aim is simple: to help you continue moving comfortably and confidently in the years ahead.
